Ronald J Martinez is Senior Vice President and Executive for Northern California and Pacific North West for HSBC. He oversees all retail functions as well as Wealth Management, Small Business and Credit Card. He is responsible for management and growth for this part of the USA. HSBC is the Worlds largest bank with over 9,500 offices in 87 Counties and territories around the world.

Prior to his current role at HSBC Mr. Martinez was a Senior Vice President and Consumer Region Executive for Bank of America. He oversaw the Consumer Retail Stores, Credit Card and Small Business Banking in N.Texas. Prior to those responsibilities he was the Premier Executive for Central USA for the Global Wealth and Investment bank. As Senior Banking Executive in the 9 states of Central USA, he oversaw the operations and associates stretching from Illinois, through Tennessee, to Texas. He was responsible for revenue generation, income, and delivering the full resources of Bank of America to local neighbors. He held the Consumer Market Executive position for the Los Angeles Mid-Cities Region. Martinez led one of the largest mass markets, Consumer Banking Regions out of the 150 markets in the United States, to one of the top 2 Regions in the country.

Prior to Bank of America, Mr. Martinez worked for Milliken and Company in Spartanburg, S.C. where he was regional manager of the Corporate Alliance Division.

Mr. Martinez earned a degree in communications from Washington State University in Pullman and has completed post-graduate courses in strategy, management, finance and sales at the Harvard Business School, Darden Graduate School of Business, the University of Virginia and the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School. He graduated in 2005 from the Graduate School of Retail Bank Management at the University of Virginia.

Martinez is the recipient of several awards for sales, growth and excellence. Martinez was also Co-Chair of United Way and is on the Board of Directors for Junior Achievement in Texas and California as well as other Boards.
